This track combines 3D modeling with creating virtual reality experiences. You start by learning Blender to design 3D models (shapes, mechanisms, characters). Then you learn to animate them and add materials and lighting. Finally, you move to Unity to create VR environments that can be explored using VR headsets or through a browser.
What will you learn?
Basics of 3D space (XYZ, mesh, vertices, edges)
Organic and hard surface modeling using Blender
Adding materials and textures
3D lighting and virtual cameras
Model animation (rigging and animation basics)
Exporting models to different formats (FBX, OBJ, glTF)

Materials, Lighting, and Animation
Focuses on adding realistic materials and textures, scene lighting, and animating models using keyframes and simple rigging techniques.
Building Virtual Reality Using Unity
Transfer your models to Unity, build an interactive environment, add user controls, and publish the application on a web browser (WebGL) or a VR headset like Oculus.
